LWFC Approves Declaration Of Emergency To Cease Supplemental Deer Feeding
Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission (LWFC) approved a Declaration of Emergency to cease supplemental deer feeding in East Carroll, Madison and Tensas parishes in an effort to curb the spread of chronic wasting disease (CWD). The ban became effective March 5.

Colorado Parks And Wildlife Accepts Check For $29 Million Grant From U.S. Department Of The Interior
Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CWP) Director Bob Broscheid accepted a check for $29 million from the U.S. Department of Interior, declaring the funding “critical to CPW’s efforts for wildlife conservation, research, habitat preservation” as well as for supporting hunting and fishing programs.

Arizona Chapter of SCI was proud to once again host the Annual Junior Jack Kamp.  In addition to the usual assistance from the Arizona Game and Fish Department, the chapter was also grateful to have members of the Phoenix Chapter of SCI help with manpower and financial assistance.
