The European Chapters have been organizing their largest annual gathering at the Palarikovo Hunting Estate in Slovakia. The SCI Bavaria Chapter has now signed a MoU with the Castle’s management to rebuild one of the larger rooms and make it into a “SCI Suite.” Initially the entire walls were stripped of old plaster and redone, then painted and the window draping renewed. Next, a total of 12 different shoulder mounts of European trophy animals, donated by J. Alain Smith, C. Dennis Anderson, John R.Monson and Roberto Cayón are being displayed. Further mounts are to be finished during the year 2013. Furniture and the complete rebuilding of the front door of the SCI Suite will follow. SCI President John Whipple thanked Bavaria Chapter President Norbert Ullmann for this initiative and promised support for it. Shown in the photo are J. Alain Smith, left, and C.
