Submit a Game Bird Entry

The Record Book Department will accept species from our extensive Game Birds list as photo entries only.

Here are the items to submit:

  1. Complete the Official Game Birds of the World photo entry form.
  2. Include a field photograph showing the distinguishing characteristics of each bird. We recommend a photo of the chest, wing open, and one of the head.
    Or complete a No Field Photo Species Affidavit
  3. Submit entry(ies) and payment to:

Game Birds of the World Awards

SCI created a Game Birds of the World Awards program, including both upland game and waterfowl. To qualify for one of these awards, you must submit each species required for the award and purchase ONE of the following for each award:

  • Listing Fee – $150: If you choose to purchase the Listing Fee for each award you will be shown as having achieved the award in all our Awards-related publications.
  • Entry Fee – $300: If you choose to purchase the Entry fee for each award you will receive all the benefits of the Listing Fee plus you will receive a custom-made plaque detailing your award.
SCI offers Milestone Awards for hunters participating in our Game Birds of the World Program, with listings in our Awards issue of Safari Magazine and handsome plaques available for each Milestone as well.

Each game bird must be legally available in the country where hunted.
