Florida's Right to Fish and Hunt
Traditions of hunting and fishing are under attack every day at the state and local level. Currently, 23 states have a constitutional right to fish and hunt across the country, including every other state in the Southeast. To combat current and future attacks to Florida's sporting heritage, sportsmen and women will have the opportunity this Election Day to enshrine the Right to Fish and Hunt in perpetuity as a Constitutional Amendment.
Vote YES to Amendment 2 on the ballot in Florida in November of 2024! The official language will appear as follows: “Proposing an amendment to the State Constitution to preserve forever fishing and hunting, including by the use of tradition methods, as a public right and preferred means of responsibly managing and controlling fish and wildlife. Specifies that the amendment does not limit the authority granted to the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission under Section 9 of Article IV of the State Constitution.”
