NO PURCHASE OR CONTRIBUTION NECESSARY TO ENTER. A PURCHASE OR CONTRIBUTION WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
Eligibility - Open to individuals age 18 or older at time of entry. Employees of Safari Club International (“SCI” or “Sponsor”), and members of their immediate family or household are not eligible. Void in Quebec, Canada and where prohibited, taxed or restricted. This Sweepstakes is conducted in the United States and is governed by applicable U.S. law.
How to Enter - This Sweepstakes begins on or about 12:00:01 a.m. Mountain Time (MT) on August 24, 2018 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. MT on April 30, 2019 (“Promotion Period”). There are two ways to enter this Sweepstakes: (1) Membership Method: During the Promotion Period, join SCI or renew or upgrade your SCI Membership by (a) following all instructions to complete and return an Official “Join or Renew and Upgrade to 3 year, Life or LHAS SCI Membership” Response Form; (b) calling 888/486-8724 to speak to an SCI representative using promotional code 2332; or (c) log onto website: www.safariclub.org/Yamaha and follow the online instructions. Entrants participating via the Membership Method will receive entries into the drawing as follows: Join SCI as a member for one year and receive one (1) entry; join SCI as a member for three years or upgrade from a one year to a three year member receive and three (3) entries; join SCI as a life member or upgrade your existing SCI membership to life membership and receive five (5) entries; existing SCI Life Members upgrade to Life Hunter Advocacy Society (LHAS) Bronze level and receive two (2) entries; existing SCI Life Members upgrade to LHAS Silver level and receive three (3) entries; existing SCI Life Members upgrade LHAS Gold level and receive four (4) entries; existing SCI Life Members upgrade to LHAS Diamond level and receive five (5) entries into the drawings . For tax purposes, this is not a tax-deductible donation. Purchase is not required to enter this promotion. (2) Mail-In Method: To obtain one (1) free entry without joining SCI, renewing or upgrading your SCI membership, mail a 3 x 5 card with hand-printed name, address, age and daytime phone number to Safari Club International Membership Join, Renew, Upgrade Campaign Sweepstakes, 4800 W. Gates Pass Road, Tucson, AZ 85745-9490. Limit one (1) entry per outer mailing envelope. All mailed entries must be postmarked by April 30, 2019 and received by SCI by May 7, 2019. Limit five (5) entries per person, regardless of the method of entry. Entrant assumes risk of loss, damage, destruction, delay and misdirection of entries, and is solely responsible for illegible, incomplete tickets or postage due mail. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of SCI and will not be returned.
Drawing - Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about fifteen (15) days after the end of the Promotion Period from all eligible entries received. You do not need to be present to win. The drawing will be conducted by an SCI representative, whose decisions are final and binding in all respects. If a Canadian resident is selected in the drawing, he/she must correctly answer a skill-testing question in order to claim the prize. The question will be administered upon notification to the Canadian resident that he/she was selected. To receive the prize, the questions must be correctly answered without assistance of any kind, within a specified time
limit.
Prize/Odds of Winning - Grand Prize (1): One 2018 Yamaha® Wolverine X2® ATV; Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP): US $14495. Color, features and options to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Winner is responsible for any sales tax (except where prohibited), licensing and registration. Any depiction of the ATV in advertising or promotional materials is for illustrative purposes only and may not be the actual prize awarded. Based on the number of prize notices distributed, odds of winning are approximately 1:40,000; however, actual odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. No cash/prize substitutions, except SCI reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value in the event of prize unavailability. Yamaha and Wolverine X2 are registered trademarks of Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., which is not a sponsor of this sweepstakes.
Consumer Disclosure - No Purchase of any kind is necessary to enter or win this sweepstakes. You have not yet won. Grand Prize (1): 2018 Yamaha Wolverine X2 ATV; Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP): US $14495. There is (1) prize out of 40,000 prize notices distributed; however, actual odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Sponsor is Safari Club International, 4800 W. Gates Pass Road, Tucson, AZ 85745-9490.
Conditions of Participation - Winner will be notified by mail and will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release and any other documentation reasonably required by SCI within 14 days of notification. Winner must take delivery of the prize at a Yamaha dealer as designated by Sponsor within thirty days of notification that prize is available (this process might take sixty days or more from date of winner’s confirmation). Prize does not include any additional costs associated with delivery beyond the Yamaha dealer. In the event of noncompliance, if winner cannot be reached, or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable, the winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner selected. All prizes will be awarded, assuming sufficient entries. No prize transfer permitted. All taxes, fees, and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Web-site users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in the sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the sweepstakes. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error; omission; interruption; deletion; defect; delay in operation or transmission; communications-line failure, theft, or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines; computer on-line systems, servers, or providers; computer equipment; software; and or failure of e-mail or entry on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Web site or sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for user cheating or fraud by any entrants. Any activities intended to disrupt or interfere with the proper play of the sweepstakes, or defraud Sponsor in any way will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Participants who engage in any of the foregoing activities will be disqualified and will forfeit any prizes won. If, for any reason, the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, infection by computer virus, worm or bugs, tampering,
unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, which in the sole opinion of Sponsor, could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the sweepstakes. By participating and accepting a prize, where permitted by law, each winner grants to Sponsor, (and agrees to confirm that grant in writing), and those acting pursuant to the authority of Sponsor, the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the World Wide Web, at any time(s), the winner's name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness and biographical information as news or information and for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation or review. All entrants release SCI, its, affiliates, subsidiaries, chapters, and their respective officers, directors, agents, employees, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Sweepstakes from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this Sweepstakes and/or acceptance or use/misuse of the prizes, including but not limited to liability for personal injury, bodily injury including wrongful death, damage to property, and damage or loss of any other kind. Sponsor is not responsible for prize quality or utility.
PRIVACY POLICY: Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant's participation in the sweepstakes will be collected by Sponsor or its agent, and will be used by Sponsor, its affiliates, agents and marketers for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the sweepstakes as described in these Official Rules and in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy as stated at www.safariclub.org/Yamaha and any communications an Entrant may agree during the registration process to receive in the future.
DISPUTES: THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES AND THE STATE OF ARIZONA, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Arizona having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, other than participants’ actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
