Wyoming Governor Orders Nonresidents Entering State to Quarantine for 14 Days

Nonresidents entering the state of Wyoming for non-work purposes are now required to self-quarantine for 14 days by an executive order issued by Governor Mark Gordon. The order also applies to Wyoming residents returning home after traveling outside of the state. Quarantine must begin immediately upon entering Wyoming.

The order is in place until April 30, 2020. As in numerous other states, the quarantine requirement is a measure to prevent further spread of COVID-19 throughout the country.

Currently there are no planned changes to hunting seasons or the draw process in Wyoming, and Wyoming Game & Fish (WGF) is reminding nonresidents that the elk draw results will be available tentatively on May 21. For now, various overnight camping areas have been closed and numerous events, trainings, working groups and other gatherings have been cancelled. Public WGF meetings have moved to an online forum. For more information and a list of phone numbers, see https://wgfd.wyo.gov/About-Us/COVID-19-Response.
