The WGH Ladies Mix & Mingle is Here!
The highly popular Women Go Hunting (WGH) Ladies Mix & Mingle event takes place in Nashville, TN, during the 2026 SCI Convention on Saturday, February 21. Ladies can attend this FREE event from 10 am to noon at the Omni Hotel’s Broadway Ballroom just across the street from the Music City Convention Center. This annual event is open only to ladies attending the SCI Convention.
The Mix & Mingle is a casual event where participants meet and network with women involved at every segment of the hunting community, from professional hunters and celebrities to spouses and moms who support their family’s hunting activities. This year’s keynote speaker is 2026 Diana Award winner Madeline “Madie” Demaske. (See her story about hunting at 18 months old on her father’s back.) Demaske is also one of the women of SCI, serving as associate litigator on SCI’s advocacy team. Meet Demaske and mix and mingle with other women hunters, make new friends and even find new hunting partners, all while enjoying free mimosas, Bloody Marys and other beverages at the Mix & Mingle.
Participants this year can also meet the women supporting WGH, including sponsor Coppersmith‘s Lisa Gingerich-Olson, who can answer all questions about trophy shipments. Other attending sponsors include outfitter Joy Campbell of New Zealand Trophy Hunting, Rachelle Hedrick and Wendy Gavinski of DSG Outerwear, and auction donors Jordie Grassie, and Carolyn Powell. Plus, the ladies of Próis Hunting, sponsor of the WGH Hunting Awards Challenge, will be there. Social influencers Kristy Titus, Melissa Bachman, Anna V and others will be present too. Additionally, all Mix & Mingle attendees will be eligible to win one of numerous door prizes and bid on three one-of-a-kind women’s items at our silent auction. The Camilla Gun was custom created by Weatherby for WGH as a one-of-a-kind firearm. The Tusk-by-the-Yard anklet by Jorie Jewelry was custom designed. And the elegant Midnight Majesty ladies’ hat was specially curated by Hatchet Creek Creations to reflect the WGH spirit.
WGH is for women of all experience levels, backgrounds and interests in hunting and the outdoors. The group’s mission is to help women network, enhance their hunting knowledge, and find hunting opportunities suited for them.
WGH brings together women who enjoy the hunting lifestyle and encourages them to participate in SCI’s initiatives in advocacy, education, and conservation. Women of all experience levels are welcome, including those who don’t hunt but support their family’s hunting activities.
