Tampa Bay Chapter Donates Blue Bag, Funds To Help Hearts Afire Mission In Africa
The SCI Tampa Bay Chapter has helped a local non-profit provide humanitarian relief in Africa.
“My chapter donated a blue bag and the funds to an organization known as Hearts Afire for them to purchase some medicine for their mission in Africa,” reported Jimmy Moreland, SCI – Regional Rep – District 28 and SCI-Tampa Chapter President. “Hearts Afire is a local charity here in Sarasota Florida that is doing some great work around the world, especially in Africa.”

Dr. Pecoraro explained the scope of the aid provided by the SCI Chapter: “Your assistance has allowed us to medically treat an
additional 2,000 people. It is only through organizations like yours that we are able to empower and invest in lives all over the world.”
