Censorship of hunting-related content on social media is everywhere, and it’s time we stood up to it. Hunting is an ethical, regulated, and legal activity that drives conservation, wildlife management, and sustainable use. Hunters contribute billions to conservation funding, improve critical wildlife habitat, and support local economies. It is wrong for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and other platforms to treat us as the bad guys.
Whether it’s fact checkers or the algorithm, hunting-related content is often censored or removed, often impacting hunting businesses or conservation efforts. Many accounts are often suspended, with little justification and few, if any, processes to appeal.
As SCI is First for Hunters, we’re taking a stand against this wrongful censorship of the hunting community. We need to make our voices heard – please sign our petition to show Big Tech just how big the hunting community really is!
