Due to the direct impact on our hunting industry, the “Spanish Professional Hunters Association” wants to issue a statement to reassure all those travelers who have booked a hunting trip to our country during the Spring of 2020.

On March 14, according to the Ministry of Health, the Spanish government implemented a State of Alarm and issued a countrywide Royal Decree 463/2020, valid for 15 days, that severely limits all movement and most commercial activity in effort to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Therefore, we are all acting by consensus in direct communication with the National Fish & Wildlife Department, as well as private hunting preserves, wildlife park’s headquarters and Consulates of Spain in the USA, trying to watch as much as possible for our client’s interest, in order to offer a logical and adequate solution to the crisis we are going through.

We’ll keep you posted about this important matter that affects both parties, hopefully the storm passes soon and we can all continue enjoying our passion and achieving extraordinary hunting trophies.

All the best,

Press & Social Media Committee
