This year’s Convention Feb. 5-8 in Reno, NV will have something for people of all ages. There will be a Convention Youth Activity Pavilion that will include a fish tank, archery targets, and Sensory Safari.
In addition to the broad range of products and services offered by the hundreds of exhibitors in their booths, there also will be great new SCI merchandise available on-site.
It wouldn’t be an SCI Convention without superb entertainment and VIP speakers. On tap for this year are the Beach Boys Wednesday evening, Charlie Daniels Band Friday evening and Donald Trump Jr. Saturday evening.
Thursday evening will be the Night of the Hunter, and Kimberly Guilfoyle will be the featured speaker during Saturday’s “Protect Your Freedom To Hunt” luncheon.
There will be an amazing Nevada Conservation Experience Activities Pavilion, sponsored by Cardrona Safari, Sportsman’s Warehouse and the Northern Nevada Chapter of SCI, open daily for the entire run of the Convention. Activities at the Pavilion will include catch-and-release fishing; target and hover archery; BB gun range; wildlife Sensory Safari trailer; Operation Game Thief trailer; animal identification using skulls, tracks and hides; and career exploration in wildlife management.
