Have a cherished memory from a past SCI convention? Share it with fellow SCI members! SCI’s 50th Anniversary Convention takes place January 19-22, 2022, making it a perfect time to look back at SCI’s history, reminisce and share favorite moments.
The Convention team is collecting photos, stories, videos and mementos from the past 50 years of conventions to create a series of multi-media collages that will appear in Safari Times, on the SCI website and social media. Plus, special displays will be on exhibit in the member’s lounge at the 2022 Convention at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
What are your favorite memories from past SCI Conventions? Maybe it was your first time attending. Perhaps you got your picture taken with one of your hunting heroes. Or, a speaker at one of the luncheons or dinners inspired you to action. Was there a taxidermy exhibit that knocked your socks off? Did you book your first guided hunt, African safari or other overseas hunting trip at a convention? You may simply have warm memories of reunions with friends and comrades from around the world. Whatever the treasured moments, now is the time to dig them up and share.

Please include a short description (a few sentences, a paragraph or an entire story if you like), including the names of those featured in photos or videos, the year of the convention if you remember, and why the memory is special to you.
