SCI RENEWS PARTNERSHIP WITH RENOWNED HUNTER MELISSA BACHMAN OF WINCHESTER DEADLY PASSION
Washington, DC – (FEBRUARY 26, 2020) – Safari Club International, the leader in defending the freedom to hunt and promoting wildlife conservation worldwide, and Melissa Bachman, host and producer of Winchester Deadly Passion on the Sportsman Channel, are excited to announce the renewal of their partnership for the 2020 season. SCI has proudly sponsored Bachman's show since 2017.
Winchester Deadly Passion, on air since 2012, documents her adventures hunting a variety of species from around the world including thunderous bull elk and thousand-pound gators. With rifle, bow, or shotgun in hand, Melissa's fast paced, in-the-moment hunting style keeps viewers on the edge of their seat, while her expertise and decades of experience give viewers useful tips they can use afield. Bachman is also a vocal defender of hunting, often citing the benefits that hunting can have for wildlife conservation and local communities.
“Melissa is an outstanding ambassador for hunters and for SCI, and we are thrilled to continue our longstanding agreement with her and Winchester Deadly Passion”, said Chip Hunnicutt, Director of Marketing and Communications for SCI.
A prominent figure around the hunting community, she frequently makes speaking appearances at outdoor trade shows, conferences, and seminars.
Bachman has been an SCI member since 2012 and a life member since 2013. Her name also appears in the record books for a Red Stag she harvested in New Zealand under the world record for women's archery.
“SCI has always been a strong partner in the hunting community, and I look forward to continuing to foster those relationships, as well as introducing new hunters and conservationists to SCI's mission,” said Bachman.
