SCI London – A Promising Start For Our Newest Chapter

Guests were introduced to the members of the board and informed of the chapters aims and objectives, many interesting conversations arose from the evening with plenty of positivity and enthusiasm to take the chapter forward and grow the UK membership. After the President, Steve Jones initial introduction, guest speakers Alkhas Khametov, Tim Cooper and Robin Hurt gave a series of interesting talks regarding the issues surrounding hunting and conservation.

Simon Willey from Holts Auctioneers was in attendance showcasing one of the many unique and historical guns available for bidding at Holts December Auction. Guests were invited to take a tour of Holland and Hollands new indoor rifle range (Sheisskino), and bid to win a rifle shooting experience on the range during the SCI London auction to raise funds for the reforming chapter.

SCI London presented some interesting items for auction, with not only the rifle lesson on the Shiesskino, kindly donated by Steve Denny of Holland and Holland, but deer stalking in Hertfordshire with Phil Easeman, a shotgun coaching session with the Chapter President, a signed book of Shooting the British Double by Graeme Wright, and a wild boar hunting experience in Bulgaria. The auction raised nearly ¬£4000 for the chapter . For information on SCI London Chapter and Events please visit [email protected]
