SCI Litigation attends Free Market Environmentalism Colloquium

Last week, Jeremy Clare, SCI Litigation Counsel and International Affairs Liaison, attended a colloquium in Bozeman, Montana to discuss issues of “Free Market Environmentalism.”  Law professors, lawyers, and leaders, including former U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Director Aurelia Skipwith Giacometto, gathered to discuss broad issues of environmental policy in the United States, focusing in particular on the inefficiency and irrationality of federal “command-and-control” laws.  The invitation-only conference was organized by the Property and Environment Research Center and the Liberty Fund.  Jeremy and SCI thank PERC and the Liberty Fund for hosting an enjoyable and very insightful meeting.
