The Houston chapter of Safari Club International has been selected to receive a Texas Parks & Wildlife Hunter Education Partner Award.
The award will be presented at the annual Hunter Education Instructor Conference and Awards Banquet in Uvalde, Texas later this month.
“Now that is exciting news!!! We are humbled, thrilled and honored to be recognized. Outreach and support are KEY to protecting our hunting heritage,” said Houston Chapter President Oscar D. Taylor upon hearing the news.
“We look forward to continuing our long history of partnership with TPW and the citizens of Texas. Thank You for all you do.” Taylor concluded.
The hard work of the Houston Chapter engenders Hunter Pride within SCI and among hunters throughout the land.
