It was for the first time that SCI was present in the Hohe Jagd, a fair that attracts hunters, outfitters, manufacturers, clothiers, firearms companies, bowhunting exhibitors, and many others, in total more than 500 from all central Europe. The proximity to Switzerland, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, North Italy brings together a large group of professionals and amateurs alike.
The newly created SCI chapter of Austria was present with a booth where they served wine sponsored by Pitbauer, attracting many visitors to learn more about SCI’s mission. The President of the Chapter, Eva Schrittwieser, complemented the booth with an SCI certified measuring course. Friday night the Austrian chapter organized a gala dinner for the first time including an auction and raffle. The gala was a remarkable inaugural success, representing Austria’s huting passion and culture with over 120 attendees and significant funds donated.
SCI Austria’s involvement at the event underscores their commitment to expanding SCI’s footprint in central Europe, an area pivotal to SCI’s mission in Europe and globally. Congratulations and thank you to Eva and the new Austrian Chapter!
