Game and Fish Directors from western states will gather at the 2020 SCI Convention to discuss the challenges, strategies and successes they have encountered in managing hunting and wildlife during the past year.
Moderated by John Frampton, President and CEO of the Council to Advance the Hunting and Shooting Sports, the 2020 Western State Directors’ Forum is on track to include the largest number of director participants in the history of the annual seminar. Currently, directors from Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Wyoming, Idaho and Alaska have confirmed their plans to attend and SCI is awaiting responses from several other state directors.
In past years, the directors have addressed topics including predator management, chronic wasting disease (CWD), and litigation challenges to hunting, to name just a few. This year’s panel will address timely topics and will take questions from the audience.
