On December 16, 2017, Cameron Blair, a Boy Scout from Troop 774 in Vail, AZ along with thirteen other troop members and nine adults created an outdoor trail on the west side of the International Wildlife Museum. The trail is approximately 100 yards long and will be used by the education staff to continue teaching concepts including desert ecology, camouflage, predator/prey relationships and the role hunting plays in conservation.
Cameron Blair and his father are members of Safari Club International. Cameron is working to achieve Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in the Boy Scouting Program. Cameron needed an extensive service project that he had to organize, lead and manage. This fit in perfectly as SCIF Education Department staff had been looking for more use of the desert setting outside.   This partnership has resulted in bringing much needed manpower to create a fun and educational trail on the west side of the facility and supports our mission to promote wildlife conservation.  A great big thanks to Cameron Blair and Boys Scout Troop 774!
