On the final Saturday of September, the New York Metro Chapter of SCI gathered for an afternoon of 3-D archery, an impressive spread of seafood and recognition for the top youth in the chapter’s Scholastic 3D Archery Summer Program. Joining in the celebration was Gus Congemi, host of Live The Wild Life TV and SCI prostaffer.
“We had a great turnout this year, despite COVID. We owe it to the next generation to pass along our knowledge, skills and passion”, said Congemi.
The event took place at B&B Archery / True Life Taxidermy in Middletown, New York. Lobster, clams, oysters, shrimp and a fish fry (freshly caught by SCI members).
