My Northern Pike Birthday

One June 6 my husband and I flew out to Gangler’s North Seal River Lodge and then on to one of their outpost lakes in Northern Manitoba. We love to fish for northern pike, and Maria Lake did not disappoint. Lots of big fish. This one is my 36-inch northern pike. I had six fish over 40 inches! Annette and Dennis manage the outpost and made the trip extra special. Annette even baked me a carrot cake on my birthday. – Patty Ehrhardt
