One of SCI’s most recent internationally chartered Chapters is in Switzerland, the Helvetia Chapter. The inaugural event was held in Intrelaken, during a weekend of pouring rain and foggy mountains, not allowing enjoyment of the landscape of the Swiss
Alps. Nevertheless, SCI members form all Swiss regions and language areas travelled to Interlaken, enjoyed a day of big bore shooting at one of Europe’s best shooting ranges, sponsored and supported by Heym rifles, best known for their doubles, and were pleasantly surprised on the quality of the food served at the gala dinner.  SCI President, Craig Kauffman (center), gave a keynote speech on SCI’s goals and work ahead; Regional Representative Europe, Norbert Ullmann (right) thanked Chapter President Mark Proudfoot (left) for his hard work on making a Swiss chapter a reality!
