Hunting Awards Challenge

WGH invites all women who hunt to document their hunting achievements and contributions to wildlife conservation by participating in the WGH Hunting Awards Photo Challenge.

The challenge involves entering photos of yourself with an animal you hunted. While the species must be one recognized by the SCI Record Book, no measurements or scores are required. All entries must be new entries never previously submitted to the Record Book or the WGH Challenge. The animal may have been taken at any time.

The Prize

Participating women can win a $100 Prois Hunting gift card, allowing them to shop for high quality women’s hunting gear and apparel of their choice from Próis Hunting.

Thanks to Próis Hunting President Kirstie Pike for supporting WGH’s Hunting Award Photo Challenge for the 4th consecutive year!

Categories for Winners

Ten winners will be drawn from the following categories.

  • Continental Entries: Winners will be selected from entries for each of the six continents listed in SCI’s World Hunting Award Program – Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and the South Pacific.
  • Turkeys of the World: Winners will also be drawn for entries qualifying for Turkeys of the World. Species include all six varieties of wild turkeys.
  • First-time Entries: One winner will be drawn from those ladies entering the SCI World Hunting Awards program for the first time.
  • Overall Entries: Lastly, two winners will be drawn from all entries received.

Should no entries be received for any category, a winner will be selected from the remaining pool of submissions. Only one prize per participant will be awarded. No one participant may win more than one prize.

Contest runs through December 31, 2026. Winners will be notified by January 8, 2027 by email and posted online on the WGH page of the SCI website, the SCI Women Go Hunting Facebook group and possibly other SCI news platforms and social media.

Read the complete rules of entry here.

By entering the WGH Hunting Awards Photo Challenge, participants agree to be added to the Women Go Hunting email list and have their photos posted on any SCI and WGH media platform.
