2019-2020 Duck Stamps On Sale Now
This year’s Federal Duck Stamp went on sale on June 28, 2019. The theme of this year’s 86th annual Federal Duck Stamp is “Celebrating our Waterfowl Hunting Heritage,” according to a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service press release.
The stamp features a wood duck and a decoy created by Scot Storm.
The Federal Duck Stamp is a mandatory licensing requirement for waterfowl hunters over the age of 16. The hundreds of millions of dollars raised from the sale of the Stamp have been used to conserve wildlife and maintain healthy wetland habitats within the National Wildlife Refuge System. Waterfowl hunters are directly responsible for the conservation efforts through the purchase of the Stamp.
The USFWS has made purchase of the Federal Duck Stamp easy. Read here how to purchase the Stamps.
