For the past decade, the Houston Chapter of Safari Club International has provided hunter training and TPWD hunter certification to over 1500 young hunters.
The Youth Hunter Education Program classes are free and two classes will be offered on July 16 and August 6 of this year. Students must be at least 9 years old to get certification, but the courses are open to students as young as 6.
